Ciao!!  We had a great time while in Italy and exploring everything Milan has to offer! We were lucky to have the opportunity to learn more about the Italian culture. Torta Bomboniera even originated in Italy. It is composed of two separate words - Torta means cakes and Bomboniera means favors, it is commonly identified as Wedding Favor Cakes.
“Macef as you’ve never seen it before”, to quote the successful advertising slogan for the 45th anniversary edition, closed its doors on a show that was in many ways “historic”.
There were around 72 thousand visitors to the show.

“A pleasant surprise” said Yoichi Kitazawa, a buyer for Kita Ceramics & Glassware in San Diego. “What pleasantly surprised us – she said – was the large number of first-time exhibitors to Macef who brought a wave of really beautiful, original products to the Home Show that will definitely help the industry and distribution channels in their efforts to revive consumption”.

While we were out there we were able to set up a distributorship with local store La Coccinella. We look forward to doing business with them and many others very soon.
